The Momentum Fund
I developed a campaign system that connects fundraising, storytelling, community recognition, and ongoing engagement rather than treating the donation as a one-time transaction.
- Campaign goal: $50,000.
- Created the Givebutter landing-page strategy and campaign messaging.
- Developed a multi-email sequence covering mission, impact, stories, progress, reminders, and the final appeal.
- Created the founding-supporter recognition concept and interactive donor-wall direction.
- Collected testimonials and permissions for reuse across email, social media, and the landing page.
This campaign is currently active and still taking shape. I’m excited to share the results at the end of the year.

Marketing education
I love teaching digital marketing!
From public-library workshops to university-affiliated boot camps and nearly 700 tutoring sessions, I translate complex digital marketing concepts into clear, relevant lessons people can apply right away.
Start:ME Atlanta
Digital Marketing Workshop Instructor and Mentor - Emory University’s Goizueta Business School Start:ME ATL Program
As a volunteer instructor and mentor, I taught four practical, two-hour workshops for entrepreneurs from underserved Atlanta communities. The sessions focused on customer acquisition, stronger digital visibility, and tools participants could put to work in their businesses immediately.
I also mentored entrepreneurs one-on-one, helping them work through marketing challenges, clarify strategy, and build confidence.
One especially meaningful moment was celebrating with a fellow mentor and our mentees after the entrepreneurs won funding prizes to invest in their businesses.

Growth marketing
Ohh! Lashes
Marketing and Business Development Manager | Oct 2013 to Feb 2018 | Coral Gables, Florida
I built lead-generation and retention programs for an upscale eyelash and eyebrow studio that also offered professional training and wholesale products.
Successful Lead Generation With Yelp
After the business moved into a studio three times larger and expanded its team, it needed a dependable source of new clients and recurring revenue. I developed a targeted Yelp acquisition program, supported by a clear sales funnel and disciplined measurement.
- 62 new customers directly attributed to Yelp at a $56 acquisition cost.
- 27% of 231 new customers attributed to Yelp.
- Manually reviewed client waivers and CRM records to connect lead sources with initial and recurring revenue.
- Used enhanced listing features, check-in offers, targeted ads, and a defined conversion framework.
Campaign period: April 16 to October 30, 2018. The return shown here is expressed as return on ad spend, based on $30,000 in revenue divided by $3,500 in ad spend.
Paid two-day eyelash-extension workshop
I conceived and launched a paid professional training workshop, wrote the promotional copy, and provided creative direction while collaborating with a designer on campaign and participant materials.
- Ran Facebook advertising to recruit participants.
- Taught the business and marketing portion of the program.
- Supported the training offer with branded certificates and participant materials.
Financial-services marketing
Miami Postal Service Credit Union
Director of Marketing and Business Development | Jul 2000 to May 2006 | Miami, Florida
I developed integrated campaigns, member promotions, and digital banking initiatives that supported growth from $46 million to $86 million in assets.
Certificate of Deposit Direct-Mail Campaign
To support growth at the Pinecrest branch, I developed a targeted direct-mail campaign for higher-income homeowners living within five miles of the location. The campaign paired a playful “Nutty Squirrel” creative concept with a competitive certificate-of-deposit offer designed to attract substantial new deposits.
My contribution: campaign strategy, audience targeting, promotional copy, offer positioning, and creative direction in collaboration with design and production partners.
The campaign generated $14.5 million in new certificate of deposit accounts while staying within a $5,000 direct-mail budget.
One Car Sale, Three Relevant Messages
For the credit union’s first member-exclusive car sale, I created three versions of the direct-mail campaign so the imagery and message would feel relevant to members at different life stages. I wrote the copy and provided creative direction while collaborating with a designer.
Younger members
An energetic, aspirational message centered on freedom, possibility, and getting behind the wheel.
Family-oriented members
A practical message connecting the vehicle to family responsibilities, quality, and everyday value.
Members age 55 and older
A nostalgia-led message using memories of classic cars to make the promotion personally relevant.
Campaign result: The first car-sale promotion generated 51 auto loans totaling approximately $1.2 million.
Member acquisition, lending, and digital banking
I wrote campaign copy, established positioning, and provided creative direction in collaboration with designers across direct-mail, lending, car-sale, and digital-service promotions.
- Promoted numerous member-exclusive car sales following the success of the first event.
- Supported a home-equity campaign that generated approximately $660,000.
- Developed local business partnerships and member-acquisition initiatives.
- Introduced and promoted internet banking, electronic bill payment, and e-statements.
Copywriting and creative direction
