Campaign Overview

A relaxed networking experience. A highly intentional strategy.

InnerCircle was designed to foster meaningful connection within the Atlanta marketing community through a relaxed, no-pressure networking environment. The concept emerged from input by TAG Marketing Society board members Daniel Caplin and Tenisha Griggs, who identified a need for informal, community-driven gatherings.

The campaign positioned the event as a curated, community-first experience for marketers across roles and seniority levels. Consistent promotion, layered messaging, and leadership-led distribution extended the campaign across TAG Marketing Society channels and board member networks.

Goals

Build a room filled with the right people, not simply the most people.

The campaign goals focused on attracting high-intent registrants, converting them into attendees, and creating a path from event participation to deeper TAG Marketing Society engagement.

01

Registration

Generate up to 100 registrations.

02

Attendance

Reach at least a 60% registration-to-attendance rate.

03

Target Audience

InnerCircle was designed for TAG Marketing Society members and non-member marketing professionals across roles, industries, and seniority levels. The campaign placed special emphasis on high-intent non-members who could become future participants and members.

01

Current TAG Members

Marketing professionals already connected to TAG who wanted a more relaxed way to strengthen relationships.

02

Non-Member Marketers

Prospective members seeking a welcoming introduction to the TAG Marketing Society community.

03

Marketers at Every Level

Professionals across disciplines and seniority levels who valued conversation, collaboration, and community.

Marketing Strategy

Use personalization to create relevance before the room ever filled.

Email and social content replaced generic event promotion with warm, layered messaging that acknowledged the recipient's relationship to the marketing community. Each touchpoint helped people see themselves as part of the experience being created.

The result was more than visibility. Personalized messaging reduced friction, reinforced belonging, and attracted registrants who were far more likely to attend.

Key Messages

Belonging was the message, not just the event benefit.

Each message reduced the social friction that can make networking events feel intimidating. The campaign consistently framed InnerCircle as welcoming, relaxed, and designed for marketers like the recipient.

01

You Belong Here

Personalized creative helped recipients recognize themselves as part of the marketing community.

02

Networking Without Pressure

The event promised meaningful conversation in a relaxed setting rather than a transactional exchange.

03

A Community for Every Marketer

Messaging welcomed professionals across roles, industries, and experience levels.

Email Marketing

Make every email feel like a personal invitation.

Email moved the audience from awareness to registration and then from registration to attendance. Invitations and reminders built momentum, while the personalized Venn diagram and digital name badge made each recipient feel expected. LinkedIn reinforced the same belonging-focused messages and widened campaign reach.
